Staff Message
The staff have been busy putting together a video message to hopefully put a smile on your face! Click on the school logo below to watch the clip.
The Book of Hopes
Completely free for all children and families, the extraordinary collection of short stories, poems, essays and pictures has contributions from more than 110 children’s writers and illustrators, including Lauren Child, Anthony Horowitz, Greg James and Chris Smith, Michael Morpurgo, Liz Pichon, Axel Scheffler, Francesca Simon and Jacqueline Wilson.
The collection, published by Bloomsbury, is dedicated to the doctors, nurses, carers, porters, cleaners and everyone currently working in hospitals.
For today’s activity, enjoy reading the Book of Hopes.
Wellbeing
During this time, looking after your mental wellbeing is very important. For today’s activity, I thought we could think about the things we do to look after our own wellbeing. Here is an example of an A to Z of wellbeing created by Simon Bolger. Your challenge today is to create your own wellbeing poster. You may wish to do an A to Z or just create your top five tips to stay healthy.
You may also wish to look at the NHS website for their 5 steps to mental wellbeing.
Active May
Today is 1st May and for today’s challenge, Mrs Amphlett has set a challenge for the month! She would like everyone to be as active as possible so try to follow each daily challenge throughout the month of May.
