On behalf of the staff, pupils and governors, I would like to welcome you to our wonderful school.
Cannon Park Primary School is a thriving school, on the southwest side of Coventry City Centre. The happiness, well-being and achievement of each child is our main concern and I believe that every child can achieve and succeed in reaching their full potential. We provide a safe, vibrant and energetic environment with very high standards and expectations of conduct and discipline. There is a genuine caring ethos with a focus on our core TRIED values: Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Enjoyment, Discipline. The ‘TRIED’ school values are lived and breathed by pupils and staff. Pupils show teamwork, respect, integrity, enjoyment and discipline in lessons and when moving around the school. Likewise, staff are respectful of pupils and listen closely to what they have to say before responding. (Ofsted June 2023) Alongside this, we have a strong focus on excellent teaching and learning, which ensures academic excellence.
Through our engaging curriculum, we strive to deliver the best learning opportunities and challenges that we can to evoke that love of learning. Our pupils are delightful, and we encourage them to aim high. Our staff are a dedicated, hardworking team of professionals, committed to providing and meeting the needs of all.
The community is very important to Cannon Park School and we value the strong partnerships we have with our families, governors and the wider community. We very much value our parents as partners and work with them to enable pupils to achieve their potential. We have active governors and the school is supported by a wonderful community. Pupils know that they will receive a warm welcome when they arrive in school each morning. They feel very safe in school and recognise that they are well cared for by all staff. (Ofsted June 2023)
Please do not hesitate to contact the school for further information or to arrange a visit to see Cannon Park Primary School during the working day. You will be most welcome.
