School will be open as usual today. Mr Cortese has been up early clearing the paths this morning. Please watch your step coming into school due to the falling snow.

Tree Planting

Yesterday, every child planted a tree at Tutbury Avenue Open Space. The children worked with Coventry City Council Urban Rangers, who taught the children how to plant a tree and talked about the importance of trees and their role of supporting the environment.

World Book Day Display

This week, the children have been designing and creating their very own book-inspired t-shirts to celebrate World Book Day. Today, we put up a display at Cannon Park Shopping Centre to share their fantastic designs. The children will bring their t-shirts home after half term ready to wear to school on Thursday 2nd March to celebrate World Book Day.

Children’s Mental Health Week

This week, we have been enjoying taking part in Mental Health Week. The children have really enjoyed the week, following the theme of ‘Let’s Connect’. This morning, all children took part in a human circle to remind ourselves of how important it is to connect with each other.

Family Concert

Are you free on Saturday afternoon? The Coventry City of Culture Orchestra are holding a family concert at Coventry Central Hall starting at 3pm on Saturday 21st January. Tickets are free to children under 12 and £7 for adults. Please click here for more details.

Make sure to arrive to Central Hall early, as we are also going to be supported by the fantastic Coventry Music service, who will not only showcase one of their ensembles during our concert, but will also be bringing some musical instruments (and tutors!) for the next generation of musicians to try before our concert starts. They will be in the main hall from 1:45-2:45pm before our concert starts.

Virtual Family Hub
