Our Cannon Park Language Heroes are a group of children in Year 5, who are passionate about helping new arrivals, who may not speak English as a first language, settle into school. They meet each week to work together to enhance our school learning environment.
Recently, they have created welcome posters to put up around the school. Many of our Language Heroes can speak another language so they may also help new arrivals settle in to our school community with the ability to speak multiple languages.
